Jeffrey Epstein
Jeffrey Epstein is a native of Newton, Massachusetts. After
attending Northfield Mount Hermon prep school, he headed to
the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (where he
met Eddie) to pursue drama-the theatrical, not emotional, kind.
And for a few years he tried acting...and event planning and
gym management. After none of those panned out, he settled on
the nice stable life of a freelance writer, mainly covering
soap operas-a medium for which he never had any particular interest.
After moving to Los Angeles, he began writing for such publications
as InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Movieline, and Teen People.
He served for nearly seven years as West Coast Editor at Out magazine, and he freelanced for the late and must-missed Disney Magazine. Currently, he is the Entertainemtn Editor at Us Weekly. He
enjoys movies, television, theater, and, oh right, Disney theme
parks.

Eddie Shapiro
Though Eddie Shapiro's writing and theater criticism have been published in periodicals across the country, he spent much of his life as an actor, performing off-Broadway, regionally, and touring the country in five separate one-man musicals for children. He has, in fact, done more children's theater than he can remember but chances are, he's scarred your kid. For several years Eddie has been working for AIDS Walk in both Los Angeles and New York, most recently serving as Event Manager. He is a graduate of Phillips Academy, Andover, NYU's Tisch Scool of the Arts (where he met Jeffrey), and Circle in the Square Theatre School. He is also the coauthor of The Actor's Encyclopedia of Casting Directors, but his royalty percentage is tiny, so you don't have to buy that one. |
